We're incredibly proud of our workshop and everyone and everything in it but more than prized hand planes or the latest Festool gadget, it's the teamwork that sets us apart.
No two projects are identical, which means that everyone on our team must be ready to adapt and evolve.
Once a project is signed off, the workshop team are briefed on the chosen design and finish. They pick a sub-team of makers and finishes to take the project from initial drawing through construction and finishing with quality assurance built in at every stage.
Our team has a true culture of learning and a genuine will to pass on skills and ideas to each other, and especially to the next generation. Some of the more experienced makers will tell you that the apprentices often inspire the old hands and much as the apprentices learn from the old hands.
Our team works closely together from initial sketch and material selection to the final delivery.
From making tables and cabinetry to finishing lighting and mirrors, our team are constantly learning and teaching new skills while practising the fundamentals.
Sharing of knowledge is vital and apprentices are encouraged to contribute their ideas from the start. Regular masterclasses are guaranteed to cause a lively debate.
Building on the skills of previous generations, raising the game and passing them along is an important part of what we do as a company.
