A dry bronze brass lantern-style pendant light hangs from a chain against a textured gray wall and light wood floor.

An elegant custom brass galley lantern

The galley lantern has provided inspiration for a number of bespoke lighting commissions. This refined example could be scaled up and down like our standard galley lantern.

An Elizabethan style oak and Carrara marble centre table

Matthew owned the original that this piece was based on. For this client, we adapted the dimensions of the 16th-century original. We hand-carved the frieze to match the original. Featured in a book and standing at the centre of a hall, it has almost all the gravitas of the original.

A pair of turned oak garden stools

Satisfying turned out of solid laminated timber, these garden stools will develop character as they evolve with time and the seasons. We'd love to see them now!

“Taking on fully bespoke work keeps our whole team on their toes, which, along with delighting our clients, is why we do it. We learn something new, and we all make some progress - the only way to reach anywhere”

A pair of scalloped leg oak side tables

Originally made for a project in Montana, we have revisited this design and adapted the proportions and finish. Versatile, pretty and practical.

A set of solid oak bar stools designed for poolside setting

Matthew's design was based on an antique piece made in a completely different material. These stools has been adapted again in size and finish to be kitchen counter stools.

A Pugin-inspired library table

A heavily Pugin-inspired library table

We loved working with the clients who commissioned this table. Although they were private clients, they were hugely engaged throughout the process, visiting the workshop and getting to know our people and understand our craft. That mutual attention to detail paid off and the table was much loved by everyone who worked on it and, most imporantly by its owners.
