We’ve long been admirers of Ms Lawson’s laid-back approach to cooking and entertaining, so we were over the moon when we were asked to create tables for her stylish and sociable kitchen.

The worn zinc top contrasts prettily with the ‘noisier’ pinks and greens of her cabinets and the x-frame oak legs lend a relaxed feel to a refectory-style table.

Instead of ordering one long top, Nigella chose a pair of smaller tables that she pushes together when entertaining larger groups.

We were also thrilled to see our table featuring on the front cover of her new cookbook, Simply Nigella.
