U S E

A super versatile table – the simple, sculptural design will work as a side, or standalone table, in contemporary and traditional spaces. The generous 450mm dia. top with raised edge is a practical surface for lamps, drinks and books etc, and the three legs ensure it can't rock. The more this piece is loved and used, the more beautiful it will become.

E D I T I O N S

The milk tables are the first of our 'editions' – pieces created in exceptional materials that we make in advance, so you can choose them for their singular beauty.

D E S I G N

The sculptural design allows us to share a rare large section of native British timber, and present it in a way that communicates its beauty and significance.

I N S P I R A T I O N

The British Isles, once almost entirely forested, have been cleared and mismanaged over five millennia, largely for agriculture. The result is a landscape with few trees of consistent quality or character— yet a culture recognised for its mastery of wood. Inspired by the vernacular form of early dairy stools and celebrating the inherent beauty of native species, the milk table is both a nod to that inheritance and an optimistic statement of intent. We believe that, with patience and care, our native timber can once again sit at the centre of meaningful, enduring design. And we know we're not the only ones.
