The Pyramid table

We're excited to introduce the latest addition – the Pyramid table – to Matthew's collection of made to measure furniture, inspired by examples of pared-back design from 18th-20th century England. A geometrically constructed table, or desk, it is informed by early Egyptian lines and country vernacular. 

The piece is available in a selection of timbers and finishes and is pictured here in our oak | worn ebony finish – see the full library for alternative finishes. The table may also be customised to the required dimensions and may be constructed with or without drawers. 

Originally created as a perfectly versatile desk designed to fit with work and life – the piece also works beautifully as a console table for a hallway, or as an elegant dining, or library, table. 

Matthew explains, “We designed this desk with our own lives in mind – hoping it would be both useful and beautiful – and it has been. It has lived in our office as a work table, in a bedroom as a writing desk, and has finally come to rest as a hall table*. It is equally at home wherever it goes and has been apt to delight in every role.”
