Oak | double whitewash

A natural off-white with warm undertones

 

Actually, our double whitewash is not really a wash. We use a natural dye to change the colour of the oak, rather than apply a superficial layer – this leaves the warm, wooden surface looking real and feeling natural to the touch. 

 

The lightly worn and dyed surface is hand-finished with a blend of naturally-derived oils and waxes, which offers protection while allowing the timber to evolve and develop a rich patina. Our high-quality FSC oak has natural variations of colour, grain and character features which are intrinsic to your piece looking honest and authentic. Please see the imagery opposite (below on mobile) for a more complete picture.
